Pretty lady

One of the things I love about having my own gardens..
 .. is nobody yells at me about picking all the flowers (I'm looking at you, Mom....)

A couple of rosebuds, some Coreopsis and some showy Cosmos, rounded out by some store bought carnations (remind me to get Carnations more often - those things last FOREVER!) - the perfect summer bouquet
I love having fresh flowers in the house - and the garden flowers are the perfect size for my Lady Head vase.

I need to dig a few more gardens....

    Homegrown flowers are like homegrown veges, prettier because they're not perfect like bought ones are. It's the imperfections that make you look again and appreciate that beauty
