Back in May, I made my first faerie garden in a seven-inch clay pot and it looked like this
Today, it looks like this
I love it so much, I just have to keep making more. I was at Wal-mart the other day and they were clearing out some of their garden stuff. I found these fabulous trays of mixed Sedum.
So I grabbed a couple, along with some more Moss and Elfin Thyme. And I got a very large pot (12 inches) and well....
This one is going to stay on the corner of the patio
I can't wait to see it fill out in a month or two.
In the mean time... I've got a tray and half of mixed Sedum left.... I better get some more pots this weekend. I think I'm going to have to start selling them....

Oh, so sweet! Love the pots you've created, and they would look smashing on my patio too!
ReplyDeleteI love these little mini gardens. I am especially fond of the redo in picture 2. I would totally buy one from you if I didn't live a million miles away. I think you should do it!
ReplyDeleteThey are just beautiful. You have a real knack with the green stuff for sure. I can't believe your Walmart has such cool plants. We get half dead petunias for a few weeks in the spring and that's about it.
ReplyDeleteWow, these are pretty awesome. Do they overwinter?
ReplyDeleteOh, I love those! I had a lot of sedums in my rock garden - they overwintered fine in Vermont, but they were planted in the ground. (Very exposed hillside, though.) Your fairy gardens really show them off!
