I finished up the Hooter hat.
Though if I'm honest, I'm a little dissapointed with it. I should have used a smaller needle.
And the stripey-ness of the handspun means the owls aren't as crisp as they could be. Sooo...
... for the purposes of the pattern photos... I've started another one. I had a nice bright blue in the stash that should show the owls perfectly.
Onward and upward!

Very pretty. Owls are so popular.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a very nice Friday.
Have you blocked it yet? I had the same issue with my Sheep Heid until I gave it a good wash. It really tightened up the stitches so the sheep looked better. All in all I think it looks great!
ReplyDeleteLove it - so cute. I do see what you mean about the owls, but I love the yarn you used on the first.
ReplyDeleteWow, that Hooter hat looks so beautiful!!! You did a great job!!! Have a great Thursday:)

ReplyDeleteYou are too hard on yourself. THat hat is to dye for!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe hand dyed yarn is still a great hat but for pattern purposes you can do another one, I think. I love to imagine a pattern on paper and see it come to life! Great job!
ReplyDeleteI like the mix of colours in your hat. Very pretty. Looking forward to seeing your next one.
