And as you can see... she has some neck problems...
Dave says she looks curious... I think she looks like she needs a neck brace. I'm going to see if I can rig up some wire in there. If not, I think I'm going to have to ungraft, and try again.
But other than her vertabral issues, I think she's quite sweet. I've knit many of these Nessie's and they never cease to delight me.
The construction is brilliant. It's a lot of short rows, and you have to pay attention, but it's worth it.
I'm working on Nessie's sister right now, so you'll hopefully be seeing double soon!

Awww; so cute! This guy does look curious but I'm not sure I could leave him like this either! Good work!
ReplyDeleteI say she looks adorable! Just perfect. I LOVE her
ReplyDeleteLooks like Nessie has been into the catnip! LOL
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! She will be loved.
ReplyDeleteI love her too. And, I like her curved neck a lot. I would leave her.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! I LIKE her twisted neck; gives her a curious purrsonality!
ReplyDeleteShe definitely needs to see a vet. Do vets work on sea monsters? Love the rabbit quilt plans!!
ReplyDeleteWow, she is awesome! Lots of fussiness means a fabulous outcome.
ReplyDeleteI work on a lot of little ones with torticullis, but never a Loch Ness monster. I think she should stay just the way she is, looking inquiringly at something.
ReplyDeleteI'd leave her as is, I love the curious look to her and if she's going to a child I might avoid the whole wire in the neck thing too. Mind you, this comes from a mum with a kid who even at 13 would still manage to get that wire to leave and damage something on the way out!
ReplyDeleteI think she looks quizzical, and very very sweet! (I've always loved your nessies!)
