The unhelpful model

I've been kinda restless this weekend - mostly likely because my car is buried and I haven't gone anywhere for three days.

To quell that restlessness, I gave into my knitting ADD and cast on for the Ladybug jacket. Since row upon row of garter stitch doesn't make for an interesting picture....

I'm using Fat Cat (the yarn - not the feline) in Cherry for the peplum. So soft and squishy (just like the feline!)

I have also been work on Dave's Hero sock - slowly getting through the cuff. I asked Tux to model with that one too...

... but it might have been a mistake...

Looks like tasty DP's. :o)

If it was Star at my place it would definitely be a mistake. You'd hear "snick" and then need a new set of needles.

Tux is doing a great job helping.. My cat would attack my yarn and needle and take off with it. I sometimes catch him slowly crawling towards me when I knit hoping I won't see him chew on my yarn.

It worries me when the cat nudges the little needles like that; I can imagine some terrible gore accident :(

Very brave of you. Kitties plus wool around here usually equals a disaster. They dug my favorite mitts out of my purse the other day and chewed them up. :(
Hope you get dug out soon!

Tux is a great-looking model. Seems Tux would like to add a design element to your sock...

Sorry you're buried in snow...I hope it gets better soon. Good thing you've got plenty of yarn and needles!

A very handsome model indeed! Although he does appear to think that the sock is a cat toy, and needed action modeling!

Hi Valerie!

I'm sure Tux is just doing the maintenance and quality control testing required to keep optimum "pointiness" for your double point needles.

My kitty always sat next to me while I knitted socks on circular needles. The first circ. cable needle broke and I thought it was a bad cable. When the replacement needle did the same thing a few days later, I realized he chomped on the cable as it slid by his front paws. :)
