It's official.. I've turned my first heel...
After a small bit of frogging resulting from a pattern misread ( I turned the heel before I knit the heel whoops) I motored right along... I found working with the dpns was a lot easier once I got rid of the fifth one and started working with four.

Wow! I'm impressed. I knit *one* sock once. I've knit baby socks, but they don't really count ... I'd like to knit a pair of socks, but once I'm done the 1st sock I am bored with it. Yay for you using dpns I know what a feat that is!
I always knit my socks with 4 needles, I think it would be too difficult to knit with 5. Yours looks great so far.
