Man sock is manly

Things are going nicely on the man sock
Although I usually get bored with mindless knitting, I do quite enjoy a nice plain vanilla sock with some fun yarn.

I've just started the heel on this one and it's making nice lunch-time knitting. A few more lunches and I'll be well on my way down the foot!

The sock looks very manly - nice work. I need to get another pair of socks on my needles soon. And they are going to me manly socks too.

I know I never see you do a mindless knit. I feel like everything you knit is SO impressive and challenging and when it's not you decide to get all crazy and jazz it up or mod it more. That said I love how a good or fun colorway can make stockinette interesting. At least with a sock there is always basic construction to keep it from getting too painful unlike say 340 stitches of garter ... good God, I need a break from that one.

I love that yarn! Plain socks are fun with an interesting stripe.

It's so amazing how endlessly fascinating it can be to watch the yarn change color, isn't it?!

Self-striping yarn is fun, I agree. Love the color of this one!
