Yarn chicken

Here's the lastest on the cropped cardi....
Yep - the body is done and that means I'm VERY close to the finish line. I just have to knit the bands on the arms and fronts. It will be finished this week, as long as the yarn holds. I'm playing yarn chicken with this one. The semi-solid orange I'm using for the ribbing was a part skein - and I have no idea how much left in it.

All I know is I'm getting near the end of it.... so fingers crossed we can make it all the way to the end.

Good luck! I always think that the faster I knit the longer the yarn will last in those situations.

Fingers and toes crossed! Since my potassium levels dropped during my emergency, it's almost a natural state right now. Ouch! cramping toes are not fun.

Dude, my palms are sweating on your behalf. But you are such an incredible knitter I know that no matter what it will work out. It looks SO good. May I request that you give us an example outfit it will be paired with when you're done? I love when you do that. I admit, I impulse bought a plaid dress at Burlington Coat Factory (yes on sale!) because of you recently. Not a sun dress, but a kick around that looks a bit too much like a flannel nightgown without the RIGHT cardigan if you know what I mean, ha! Good thing I don't care!
