Walking the cat....

... is definitely different than walking the dog.

Mostly it involves following the cat around because there is no way he's following you, or standing in one place while the cat eats grass:Tux reacted really well to the harness and leash. He let me put it on him no problem.

Rocky, not so much:
I couldn't get a non-blurry photo of him because he was trying to roll the harness off. Once we got outside, he was pretty nervous. He mostly hunched in the grass, and stayed there.

Dave got a little more exercise because he had Tux:
Eventually though, they were both content to just chill on the lawn and enjoy a bit of sunI think we'll try to make this a daily event. At least for Tux who was more than happy to explore.

OMG, that picture of Rocky is insane! I laughed so hard, look at his eyes -- not hard to tell that he is NOT impressed, lol!

That's so funny to see. I'm sure Rocky will get to like it eventually too. It's nice to be outside. I'm really surprised to see Dave walking Tux though, not that I know him, but I thought no guy would do something like that. :o)

ahhhhhh... the cats are adorable!

Keep it up! My daughter regularly put her cat on a leash when he was little and soon was happy in public on a leash. As long as the people with dogs on those non-leads (the type that give the dog ability to stretch out the lead beyond reasonable lengths in public) weren't around.

I had to laugh at the description of walking cats - definitely not the same as walking a dog! Love the last picture...

OMG, Dave is awesome! Michael would NEVER walk my cats (even back in the day when he liked them). Puff used to walk where we wanted to walk, but Puff was a cat of a different colour, so to speak. :)
