December babies

There are several December babies in my immediate family (myself included), and today we had a little informal celebration up at Mom's.

Miss Pee is the first of the Sagittarians, and certainly the most spoiled. Among her presents were her Buddy socksI gave up on trying to embroider them - but she loved them anyway. She also got a stylin' beret.I got a little early birthday present too...A spindle cat shawl pin!

Rowan's our lone June baby - but she didn't need present - she had Ladydog for entertainment
(She also has a stylin' pixie cut because she got a hold of the scissors last week...)

And now it's back to the Christmas knitting.

Funny how in some families, several birthdays fall the same month. In our family, it's June. We have 8 family members (parents, children, nephews) between the 1st and 25th.
Happy Birthday to you!

I'm a December baby (16th) also and so is my number one son (17th) and his new bride (19th)! Celebrating birthdays in December is extra special because everything is already so festive. Aren't we lucky!

We've got a few December birthdays in my family. My Dad, Brother, eldest son and me. A few years back we still had my Nana and Gran too.

lol -- I'm so glad mine never got at their hair with scissors, but I know quite a few kids who did!

Lovely hat and the socks look toasty! And from yarn that Miss Pee dyed herself...how cool is that? She's done a great job modeling that beret too!
