Making Tracks

Look! Knitting!

And no... it's not a Christmas sweater... but don't worry, I'm half done the second sleeve on that puppy... there's still hope to finish it in time.... and this cowl is a Christmas gift too....

And it's also my newest design! This is Making Tracks. It's a lovely soft cowl that uses just one skein of Wandering Cat Yarns Aristocat (baby alpaca/merino/silk - so it's uber-soft!) I knit this in two short evenings and a morning, so it makes a great last minute gift (and it totally re-revved my knitting engines!). It's super easy with just enough interest to keep you motivated - and a great beginner lace project.

It's available now for just $1 until the end of the year, after which time it will revert to it's regular price of $3. I've also got some Aristocat dyed up and ready for the shop - so keep any eye out for it soon!

Now... I better get back to that sweater!

Love it! I have been wanting a cowl and have not been able to find a pattern that interested me. I have now!
