Twisting the leaves

Back in October, before I got started on my "knit all the presents" kick, I started a pair of socks for myself.

Naturally- with all the Christmas knitting, they got set by the wayside. But as I had to sit and wait for some work on my car today, I dug them out again - and happily, finished the first sock.

The pattern is Embossed Leaves - a pattern that has been in my queue forever. I'm using Twisted Top Cat. I didn't think it was possible to improve on our scrumptious Top Cat - but I think the twisted version has done it - it's so sproingy - I love it.

There are a couple of skeins of Twisted Top Cat left in the shop - and if you act fast - you can save 25%! Today is the last day to use code BXGDAY25.

Now... to work on my shawl or start the second sock.... decisions, decisions....

Very pretty and a nice seasonal color too.

Hope the car problems weren't bad ones. No one needs THAT!

Lovely colourway! I'd be casting on that second sock, but that's just me. I'm in shawl avoidance mode at the moment. I've picked a pattern, have the yarn and now I'm trying to talk myself out of it :(

Love that pattern-the color is perfect. I am in lace withdrawal so I foresee some fancy casting on in my future-if I can get a quiet moment to myself, that is.
