WIP Wrangling - checking in

I'm a little later than planned with this check-in - but as you know, this month has been chaos so far.

Anyway, as of February 1, 2013 I had 6 projects on the needles. A hat, two sweaters, a pair of socks, a shawl, and an afghan.

Things just went downhill from there.I managed to finish two pairs of legwarmers and some Monster High clothes - but all of those were cast on AFTER the start of the month.

Now, it's March 5, and  I have 9 projects on the needles....yep - 9, almost double my 5 WIP target. There are three pairs of socks, a hat, two sweaters, a baby jacket, a shawl and an afghan.

This month I pledge to get at least two pairs of socks off the needles (The ransom socks are pretty much done, and the BC socks have a KAL deadline). Nora's Ladybug Cardigan must be done before the 14th, so that will get finished as well. With any luck I can manage to finish the shawl and the hat and bring my WIPs down to a respectable number

How's your WIP count?

The word for my WIPs would be --- manageable.

1. Steve's big blanket (a bit over 1/3 done)

2. A cross stitch bookmark --- counted out, but no stitching started yet.

3. Pattern and yarn picked for a pair of socks, but not cast on yet.

Sounds do-able, right?

Good luck with your 9.

5 at the moment:
1. Business Casual Socks, 1st one finished, 2nd is only in the ribbing atm.
2. Hermione's Class Socks, 1st one ribbing only so far
3. Escalator Socks, 1st one about an inch below the ribbing
4. Central Park Hoodie, so close on this one, just hood and band to go, got to finish #1 first though.
5. Berrilicious Breakwater, um, I've done the neck, that's it.

I need to get at least 2 of these finished, then I'm allowed to cast on a shawl and something in colourwork (probably a certain pair of socks). I also want to do something that's a quick finish too.

MY WIPs are in pretty good shape, and by the end of this week I should have a couple of big projects off the needles. That'll be a relief!

You had to put the ransom stuff ahead, didn't you!?!

You have a plan. If you can stick with it you'll be golden.

I have two WIPs. A baby blanket and an afghan for me!

Wow...9 projects. I'm kind of a 1 or 2 project gal most of the time. I finished a cowl last night, so I'm back to 2 projects: socks and Orenburg Lace Shawl (just started).

Hahahahaha....I'm not telling anyone how many projects I have going. In other words-too many to count. I need serious help.

Hmm. Two pairs of socks, plus a third I plan to frog as they're not working. A sweater. Another sweater (that's barely started). A sleeveless top. A hat. Seven? I'm sure I'm leaving something out.
