Three point five

I'm still working out the kinks of my homeward bound commute. I've discovered it's better to take one of the earlier shuttles, and that I can actually take the train all the way into Hamilton if I do. But the whole thing is still taking me about three hours. Next time I'm going to try the earliest shuttle and see if that can get me under the three hours point.

One thing I do know for sure....
This is how much sock I can knit in about 2.5 hours (the lost half hour is in transfers, bathrooms trips, and platform waiting, where it's too cold to knit right now). That's about 3.5 inches!

So... while It may take a while to get home, I'm super productive while I'm getting there!

Sorry about the long ride home but it is just like a knitter to turn it into something productive! That sock toe is very pretty!

That is STILL a LOT of transit time! Good thing you are a knitter!

Love your sock - great colors, and I would hate your commute. Sorry it is so long, but as everyone is saying, you certainly are making the best of it.

Whoa, what a commute. I'm sorry lady, but I am so glad you're a knitter. A serious knitter, making some serious progress! Dang!

The sock is looking good though, I'm loving how the Jaywalker pattern lifts a striped yarn into something special. I'm on the heel of my first one now, it keeps bumping other things off the knit at home list even though it's supposed to be my travel knitting. I've had to have serious words with it, my colourwork sock is getting a bit miffed about being ignored!

That's a sucky commute. Good for the knitting, however!
