Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on which way you look at it) I have a job that I can do from home.
So I spent most of the day at my computer, writing away. It also allowed me a chance to see what the kids get up to during the day:
First we snack a little:
Play a game of hide and seek:
Relax in our "house" (which as you can see, has been torn apart at the seams from "play")
Watch the snow:
Tease the fish:
Watch the snow some more:
Dance through Valerie's knitting patterns:
Eat the plants:
Scratch:
Lick:
Stretch:
Sleep:
Sleep some more:
And more:
And more:
And... MORE:
Oh to be a cat....

Nice!! Cats are so lucky.
My cats are currently doing the exact same thing. They get a snack and the chase each other around the house and then sleep, and sleep, and sleep.... I sometimes wish that I could be a cat, but I also work from home so I get to enjoy some of those perks and I also think that it is a curse because then there is no privacy for me in the house.
