I have Fridays off and mom is on vacation so we decided to do a little shopping and have a mommy-daughter day.
We stopped at Julie's (our FAVOURITE local yarn shoppe) and lookie what I got...
Crystal Palace Panda Silk! Silk (just a little), Bamboo and Merino, in gorgeous green shades that have just a hint of sparkle... what's not to love??? So I guess I better get some serious sock knitting done, eh?
I'm to the foot on the pink sock...... I should be able to finish it up this weekend. It's really too bad I can't knit at Job # 2 - then I could finish it and nutlet #2.
And if I could knit at work, I could take it in my swanky new project bag:
Mom got this for me the other day (she got one too, but it has sheep on it.)
And of course, as I was trying to fill it up, some one had to stake his claimNothing is sacred.

Of course I'm sure you got that bag for him... lol!
So true, especially to cats! I love that yarn you bought -- those colors are gorgeous. And it sounds like a perfect mother-daughter day :)
Didn't you buy it with him in mind? All cats know it's all about them!
Love the bag. Thank you for sending me the sox yarn, I sent my email address. Also let me know if I can find anything for you that you need. I would love to repay the favor. For future reference. Thanks again..
Pretty bag!! Love the yarn too, looks very soft! I will have to get to the Needle Emporium one of these days, I've heard good things :)
Nice looking yarn that you got there. BTW I love nutkin, I need to get at that pattern.
Sorry P and I didn't get to see you yesterday!!!
What a cute bag! Very nice yarn - I made something with that and really liked the yarn!
That is very cool looking yarn - and I am a sucker for anything with an animal on the label. And of course you do realize that the pictures of Hello Kitty on the bag are always an indication to a cat that they should sleep on it - it is a very cute bag but really, kitty pictures should give away that it is a kitty bed :)
