Can you believe it.....

.... 253 squares......126.5 hours......two years, one month and one week later....The crackghan is finished!
Finished size is 56" long and 36" wide. Perfect for just me, snuggling up on the couch with the cats and a good movie.

Here's a shot to give you some perspective:I love everything about this blanket. I love the weight, I love the drape, I love the colour, I love the warmth - I don't think I could find a more perfect blanket.

This of course, is also a favourite among the cats. Even as I was knitting is, I was often finding myself with one, two, or all three trying to grab a corner to snuggle with.

And of course, I never could have completed it without all the generous donations of leftovers from fellow bloggers - so once again a HUGE thank-you to you!!!

I still have lots of leftovers left over, so I'm on the hunt for another sock weight leftover blanket... any suggestions?

Fantastic. I really like the scrappiness about it; every square has its own story!

What a gorgeous blanket. Mine isn't half finished yet, and I've lost steam. Seeing your finished blanket makes me want to keep working on it. I once saw a log cabin blanket knit from leftover sock yarn. It was divided into warm and cool colors and divided that way.
