Still truckin'

I still seem lost in some weird time/space continuum- days are whipping by with out heed - though it's not quite as bad as last week.

Tonight, I refused to work late (I did so Monday and Tuesday...) and came home and promptly sat my butt in front of the TV and knit. I got a few more leaves done on my colleague's shawl.I know. I know. You're saying, "but you said you'd have this done on the weekend... how are you only this far???"

Well I might have been seduced by some butter-coloured alapaca silk over the weekend. The good news is - it's gotten to long for the needle it's on, and the only one I have that's long enough is the needle the shawl is on.

So, if I want to fool around with the alpaca silk - I've got to end it with the shawl first.... sigh... monogamy is so hard.

It's very pretty and if you keep on it will get finished. I'm going one row at a time on my socks at the moment too; there's a shawl and more socks calling my name but I'm trying very hard to let them be.

Glad to hear you're taking some time for yourself! Sounds like you've been working yourself ragged for the last few weeks~

It must be that kind of week. On the one hand, it seems like it has been an incredibly long week. On the other hand, I keep getting to the end of the day and saying, 'I still have 12 things to do, but it's time for bed. Arghhhh!'

The shawl is beautiful though. Tell that pushy alpaca silk to wait its turn!

I have a serious problem with monogamy!!! It is so hard to commit to only one project!
