Surmount the Stash - January Round-up

It's no surprise that I don't have much progress to show for my first check-in of the year.

The only project I completed was Dave's hat, so I've only depleted the stash by a measly 162 yards.

I fully expected to have a lot more to report this month - a shawl, a coat, maybe even a pair of socks.

However - this sets me up for a really good February - right?

I have started on two "goals".

1) Knit a lace weight shawl - Aeolian in the Prism Tencel yarn from Knit Camp. Though very little progress has been made, at least it's started.

2) Knit four sweaters - The Lore Hoodie is soooooooo close to being finished. Maybe this weekend.

And, since I don't have any beautiful FO pics to show you....
Look a shiny kitty!

February is a new month, that's how I will be looking at my progress this year! Very comfy looking kitty!

I've not finished anything in January at all, well, I finished a sock, but not the pair. February has an expectation of finishing the second sock though. As well I want to finish the back of my Central Park Hoodie and a crocheted dishcloth.
My kitties have tried to help me with my stash problem; they stole a Gedrifra Shetland De Lux skein and ripped it into 2 bits; luckily it's still useable though as I don't really approve of stash reduction by kittie attack.

Love the cat pic! What is it about January that makes us (at least me) less productive?

We can always hope a new month will be better than the last.
