Get a wiggle on

Here we are more or less half way through June and I feel like I've made very little progress on the wedding shawl
I've completed two-and-a-half repeats on the first side. It needs five in total, then a final chart. Then I have to do the other side.

I'm not sure why it's taking so long. I'm quite enjoying it. The combination and Slinky Cat yarn and lacework alwasy makes me happy. As does the gorgeous yellow colour.

As mentioned... I'd like to get it done by the end of June. It's not a hard deadline - the wedding is the end of July - but the bride will be off the week before, and after the wedding she'll be moving to Calgary.

So I better get those needles clicking!

Deadlines are great motivators...plus that pattern looks like so much fun!

Nothing like a looming deadline to get those needles moving! It is beautiful!

Such a pretty piece. I've no doubt you will finish it up quickly.

You have to stay OUT of the garden and knit, knit, KNIT!

Well, I've always thought you knit like the wind, so I don't have the least doubt that you'll beat the deadline!
And it's going to be stunning!
