Blaze of Glory

I told you the red dwarf Columbine would soon be afire
Look at all those pretty red blooms!
The Armeria is showing off too.
You can see where it got a little frost damage in the centre, but otherwise, the plant is doing fine.
Each tuft is no bigger than a nickle and made of of tiny flowers.
And I get to see this pink beautiful right outside my door.
Bleeding heart has always been one of my favourites!

And of course..
It's dandelion season!

And an update on a few of those garden fails...

Tournament of Roses has joined Queen  Elizabeth in the land of the lost. But Chicago Peace seems to be pulling through.

The Cardinal Flower may be coming back...
It's only a tiny little green speck of hope... but it's hope! The Cardinal Flower is a gorgeous blaze of bright red come mid summer.

And it looks like some of last year's Toad Lilies finally made their appearance

What a cool name-Toad Lilies! Interesting to note-we don't have dandelions here in FL!
I kinda miss them!
