Wow!
I am in awe!
In just a few short days, Artemis has garnered far more attention that I ever thought it would! It's already been favourite 230 times and is in 65 queues! You guys rock! Thanks so much for your support.
I really makes me want to get the next shawl off the needles and into print!
That said, I haven't knit a stitch since Saturday. Sunday, as you know, I was busy trying to de-monkey, and yesterday was a 12-hour work day (someone decided that it would be a good idea to plan an execute a trade show with less than a month of time) so I came home, made lunches for the next day and went to bed.
But tonight..... tonight is all mine..... hello couch.... meet ass! Yarn... meet needles!

Meet Rocky's enormous belly!

That is definitely not a good shot. Kinda like when you take a picture of your new socks on your own feet.
Looking straight down. EWWWWWW
Hello big belly! scratch-scratch
Rocky totally reminds me of Barney - their coloring is very similar.
And seriously a 12 hour day - I couldn't take that. Of course I have a truly awful job so that could be why. Hopefully it is shorter days the rest of the week!
Have a great night knitting! I faved the shawl pattern - it looks like a fun knit. And I know just the yarn I'm gonna use!
Shouldn't you be scratching that belly and not taking pictures of it? :P
And I thought I was hard pressed with my 10 hour days (plus 2 hours of dog walking). Just make sure you get enough sleep!
Congrats on the success of your new pattern!
He does look rather rotund in that position, doesn't he? lol!
It's a great pattern - of course we love it!
That's a belly that screams to be scratched.
Knit up a storm tonight!
It's a beautiful shawl!
And enjoy peaceful evening of knitting. Neck scritches to Rocky (My cat-nephew Miro used to like that pose...and when you unwarily cooed 'aw, how cute' and touched his belly he'd wrap all four paws around your wrist and bite your hand... I'm sure it was great fun for him, but humans learn quickly about such things!)
Aw Rocky is so adorable! Congrats on your pattern success!
