Bad timing

With only 16 days until Christmas, it's a really bad time for you knitting mojo to take a vacation. But that's just what mine has done. The last few days of knitting have been almost completely wasted, frogging almost everything I've knit.

This morning Tux and I spent two hours stretched on the couch watching the Avengers (again) and I didn't once pick up the needles. True - when an 18lb cat is using your cheek as a pillow, it's difficult, but I didn't even want to.

Nora's daddy sent me pictures of Miss Nora in her pinwheel jacket I knit this summer:

And as cute as she is... that isn't even revving my knitting engines... I'm going to go mop another floor and see if that makes me like the needles any better.... the clock is ticking...

Only 16 more days?!? AIEEE! I am sick of the two pairs of socks I am knitting, so I am reknitting a toddler sweater - fixing a couple of problems that I was hoping to ignore. If xmas is not motivation enough, I have several sweaters queued up. But must finish xmas knitting first. Hope your mojo returns soon!

Oh dear, I had that happen with my sewing mojo a while back; I won't tell you how long that took to come back. Knitting is taking a backseat here atm, not due to lack of mojo, but because I have to finish the final quilt! Then I get to knit my lovely shawl.
Maybe you need to dye something, or purchase yarn from somewhere you wouldn't normally, I often find that helps.

Awww....what a cutie in her jacket. Sorry about your mojo. There is nothing worse when you have a deadline.

Oh crap. It was the WRONG YARN that killed the mojo! This is not good!! You need something quick and fun to re-start your needles a'clickin' ... hmmm.

Uh oh, if floor mopping has more allure than knitting, then your mojo is well and truly lost :( Time to go Christmas shopping instead, or watch some great Christmas movies.

Just a little down time, a little joyful refueling, and your mojo will return!
