Naturally- with all the Christmas knitting, they got set by the wayside. But as I had to sit and wait for some work on my car today, I dug them out again - and happily, finished the first sock.The pattern is Embossed Leaves - a pattern that has been in my queue forever. I'm using Twisted Top Cat. I didn't think it was possible to improve on our scrumptious Top Cat - but I think the twisted version has done it - it's so sproingy - I love it.

Lovely colourway! I'd be casting on that second sock, but that's just me. I'm in shawl avoidance mode at the moment. I've picked a pattern, have the yarn and now I'm trying to talk myself out of it :(
Love that pattern-the color is perfect. I am in lace withdrawal so I foresee some fancy casting on in my future-if I can get a quiet moment to myself, that is.
