Chillaxin...

... is about all we are doing this weekend. There are ribs in the slow cooker and laundry bouncing around in the dryer, but that's the extent of off-couch activity today. It's raining anyway so it's the perfect day to knit.
This is what the Auburn wave shawl looked like yesterday afternoon. It's a fair bit further long now, but the rows are longer so progress is slowing. I want to get it off the needles though, because the construction of it has inspired a new design - I got most of it charted up yesterday and I'm itching to cast on with some Solo Cat

The other piece of inspiration...
Roses... and mine are about to burst open... just another day or so of nice sunshine.

Those skeins are a pretty color. Can't wait to see what they become.

We get one rose bloom a year here under the trees and I missed it this year. I can't wait to see yours!

Your shawl is really pretty, can't wait to see the latest progress and what you do with the yarn below. What color exactly is it? It's really pretty, but is it peach or orange or blush?

We had an absolutely beautiful weekend, and today was the warmest day yet! Tomorrow it's supposed to rain, though. But we need it, I think the whole province is still under a fire ban - it has been very, very dry.
