Sunday knit-a-long

The problem with monogamous knitting, is that it makes for very boring blogging. Thank goodness for my gardens or I'd have very little to show you.

But I do finally have some knitting to show you. After a very busy Friday night and Saturday morning and afternoon, I decided I deserved the rest of the weekend to myself.

So that means movies and knitting
As a result,  I made some really good progress on the Solo Cat shawl. I've completed the leave motif and I'm now ready to start on the edge motif. After all the problems I had getting the leaf pattern to work, I decided to throw a lifeline in there. Hopefully I won't have the same troubles with this part, but this will just make it a lot easier to pull back if I do.
Here's a closer look at the leaf motif. As you can see, it's got a lot of beads
I was starting to worry that I was going to run out, but after a quick search, I discovered 60 more grams of them - that should be enough for what I've got planned.... hopefully....
