Be still my heart

First - thank-you to all who've steppe up and purchased patterns. We've raised about $60 so far! Every dollar counts and the sale is on until Saturday - just use the code GATA and save 50% .

Now, to other business...

I mentioned last fall that I'd like to make a new decoration for the front door for each month. Limited funds have kept me from doing so so far, and though the Christmas decorations were taken down before the new year, the polar bear hanger was still on the front door because I just couldn't bear to see it bare.

But I was sitting there the other night, and for some reason, knitted hearts popped into my head. I found  a suitable heart pattern, dug up some yarn scraps (Stray Cat, Fat Cat and Twinkle Cat) and...
Three pretty little stuffed hearts. A quick scavenge through the other craft supplies and a few hours later...
All ready for February!

Brilliant! My poor grapevine door wreath is bare at the moment. I've always intended to knit some little winter things for it but never have. Now I'm shamed.

I have seasonal decorations for my front door. The one there now is for Winter. It's a snowman. :) I do love the idea of hearts for February. :)

Adorable! I need to switch mine out as it is the one o used for Christmas. I could just take out the decorations and add some hearts though.

That is SUPER cute! I gave away the hearts I just knitted. Maybe I'd better cast on more?
