Great-grandma's treasure chest

I showed you the gravy boat and plate that came home with me the other week. Well, not long after, the rest of great-grandma's treasures came home with me too
Nothing is a full set. There's six plates, three bowls, two side plates.... but I love them all. One of my earliest memories is of eating black cherry ice cream out of the rose covered bowls in great-grandmother's apartment.

Most of the china is by Johnson Brothers from England, but a few of the pieces are from closer to home
Like these pretty bowls.
 Love that!

And there were these two little pieces
They seem a bit big to be creamers, but a little small for gravy boats.... but they are going to be part of the gravy server collection now!

Everything needs a good wash, but there's enough pieces to serve Dave and I on special occasions. I think it will all look so lovely on his grandma's table!

The one on the bottom middle came in laundry detergent. My grandma had them too. All I have is a big pitcher.

Oh...they are treasures! I love mismatched china on the table. Each one has a story to tell.
