No.Sock.Love

It doesn't look like Dave will be getting socks for Valentine's day.
Giant man-feet, combined with a lack of knitting time (I'm helping coworkers plan events for when we are in Chicago, and it's eating into my lunch hours) means I'm not even through the first sock yet, And V-day is only four days away. These are definitely not going to be done in time.

But no worries, we actually already exchanged V-day gifts last week. I was out shopping (I needed new boots) and I picked him up a new dress shirt. He was in bad need of new dress shirts, so I gave it to him when I got home instead of waiting... he, in turn, handed me the money for the boots I had just bought...

We are so romantic!

I'm not getting anywhere fast with my Valentine's towels either. I'm lost in a time suck and I think I have to blame the new Chromebook.

I like your romantic style, it definitely speaks to me. I'm with Kathy B, team practical. Flowers though, i like flowers not on V Day b/c it seems ridiculously over priced, but you know, in general.

As I ramble on... you are still pretty far on that sock. I'm impressed. He'll get those beauties soon, I'm sure! Maybe post Chicago!

We're not doing much for V-Day either... Gavin is in Miami so I'll be home alone. Maybe some retail therapy is in order? He'd want me to buy some pretty yarn for myself right??

My husband and I went out for BBQ. And I put ketchup on the fries in the shape of a heart. It's about as romantic as we get.
