I get by with a little help from the cats...

One of the things that bugged me the most about being sick over the holidays, is that I didn't have any energy to work on any of the projects I have on my plate.... knitting or otherwise.

One such project was the baby quilt for my coworker. It's so close to being done... it just needed sashing, quilting and binding.

But finally, yesterday Mom picked me up and I took it all up to her place. Under the careful supervision of Mr. Tibbs...
...I got the sashing on
ummm Mr. Tibbs.... we can't see the quilt....
That's better. The discount leopard print fabric I found worked perfect
I have a different leopard print for the back and binding.
Mom sandwiched it all for me, and she's doing the quilting. When that's done, she'll drop it off and I can finish off the binding while watching a movie.

Not long now!

Aren't moms great? It looks prefect and strangely goes very nicely with the kitty.
