With Hamilton off the needles, it was time to get another design on.
This one is Port Credit - another town that has a special place in my heart. Port Credit is Dave's hometown. We spent a lot of time there in our early relationship - and I even lived there briefly after college.
It's also the town where Samantha and I spend a special day each year.
Like most of the small towns in the area, its been amalgamated into a larger city (in this case, Mississauga), but it's retained it's individual charm. It grew up around Lake Ontario and the mouth Credit River...
..so I've tried to echo that waterway feel in the pattern. I'm using the Twinkle Cat I just dyed up. I'm really excited to see this one progress. It's cabled, so it moves a little slower... but I've got lots of train time...

Great color and great pattern. It's fun to see these unfold.
I'm loving all the socks and totally enjoying the tour of your cities.
Your socks, your knitting..you just amaze me> Over and over again!!
This is a great start! Since I grew up on the southern shores of Lake Ontario, we have that in common!
