Cute as a Burton

Okay... I know you're dying for more Burton...
And I aim to please. A couple of you mentioned that it's hard to photograph black animals - and you're right. My camera is also getting old and fussy, and doesn't like to focus on dark things... but we manage.
It helps that Burton seems to love the camera and is very photogenic. His happy to pose and stretch and roll while I click away.
You may have noticed he's got a few random white hairs... bu he's also got an adorable little white spot on his belly. His under coat is also grey, not black - especially around his neck.
He really is the cutest, sweetest thing. But don't worry, I'm not neglecting the other two... they will get air time soon!

There is something very bat-like about your little sweetie. Very mysterious!

You're so right about being photogenic! I've never seen a cat pose like that. Reminds me of runway models. I just love that face!

Your camera does an excellent job-I only have my cell ph and it can't get a focus on either of my black cats! Burton is adorable!

Hi Valerie, Burton sure is a cutie. I thought maybe you had named him after Burton Cummings (did I spell that right??). Showing my age! Glad he is fitting in with the rest of your family.
Have a great Wednesday!

He is way, way too cute.

I'm so glad you gave him a good home. Watching him and Ru gives me my laughs for sure.

He is adorable. Kittenness is the cutest thing. Beatles has a few errant white hairs and a belly patch too. But beatles whiskers are black. WE are having more than just rain here. Its storming and the cats seem very upset about it all. Lots of thunder . This house seems to grasp the light waves because of all the windows.

It definitely helps that he likes the camera, both my girls are camera shy which makes decent photos of black (or rather dark chocolate) cats much harder. Your wee boy looks like he's posing!
