I know autumn is on its way because I'm quickly losing the light for photos by the time I get home from work. But, I got home a little early today so I took advantage of the opportunity to give you a better look at the Solo Cat Shawl.
I'll also take the opportunity to share a little more. As mention before, it was inspired by the Auburn Wave shawl I completed early this summer, and follow the same construction. The result will be a nice crescent shaped shawl, but I plan on adding an extra twist - a knit on edge on top and bottom... we'll see how that little plan works out later.
It's also heavily beaded. it's hard to see it, but in each of the little flowers at the bottom has a bead in the centre.
You won't see the pattern released until at least spring of next year. It's going to be part of an e-book with at least three shawls in it, so I have a lot of work ahead of me! But, you should be able to see the finished shawl by the end of this month - as long as I can keep this monogamous knitting mojo going for a while...

Very pretty!
The only way I know fall is on the way, is that the college students are coming back on campus this weekend. Traffic has been a nightmare!
Not all ready...it's been such a lovely summer here that I'm not looking forward to fall.
That is a lovely shawl. You've got me wondering about the big finish.
Just popped over to look at the inspiration pattern and I have to say it's different from what I'm used to. I'm really liking different at the moment, so that's a good thing!
Beautiful! Its been Fall like here with the weather, went from hot and humid, straight to crisp and cool in a day.
Oh, how pretty! I really like the pattern and the beads!
