Night and day

... and so this happened
Photobombing cat NOT included for scale - he's just a jerk.
Yeah - this is surprising even me - it's just flying off the needles. As of Friday afternoon, I has just finished the bottom band and was starting on the body. Next thing I knew I was splitting for the armholes. I haven't even been knitting on it steady - just working on it in between chores and cooking.

But - as I keep reminding myself - it's a cropped worsted-weight vest. It's bound to be a quick project. Especially after working steadily on a fingering-weight, full-length lace odyssey with full shawl collar....

I've just got to finish the left front, then I'll be casting on for the top of the arm holes - after that it's just going to get quicker and quicker, as the rows decrease.

If I was a betting woman, I'd say I'll have this done by Monday. But I don't like to tempt fate, so we'll just see how it goes.

Either way... it's far quicker than even I thought it would be...
"You know the rules - you put it where I can reach it and it's mine!"

Tux DOES look good with that color. He's such a willing addition to every photo.

Your vest is lovely too. ;-)

Pretty bouquet! And I do have to side with Tux on this one ... after all, you did put it where he could reach!

Tux is very good at photo-bombing, and I love it; makes me chuckle. The vest is looking great, and wow, it's going fast. Nice!!
