Yesterday, I had some customs orders to work on in the dye studio, but when I got up there, I discovered Mom had some visitors. So I got to work with my favourite little assistant.
Once my custom orders were out of the way, I let her take over
Miss Rowan is and old hand at it now, so I mostly just mix up her colours for her and get out of the way so I don't get splattered with dye.
And this time, her Mom thought she'd give it a whirl
Jenn's knit with lots of hand-dyed yarn, but she's never made her own before.
So I just kept the colours coming and let the two of them do their thing. I didn't get pics of the yarns they took home with them, but most of these beauties will end up in the shop in short order
We're just waiting for them to dry, then Grandma has to make up her mind on which ones she wants to keep.

Your dyeing room is awesome! I would love to play in there for a few hours.
What fun to have a dye party, even if it was unplanned! Love your yarns!
Such a great way to teach your love of fiber to a youngster!!! Many would not ALLOW a young one to do this. GOOD FOR YOU
And the next generation starts their journey into indie yarn dyeing! Yay!
Fun! Passing on a grand tradition, way to go!
She looks so happy! Yay to you for helping/teaching her.
