Supplies

On the weekend, Mom and I got together and did a little shopping. (Sadly, the Old Navy shirt dress I ordered didn't fit, so I exchanged it for an army green denim jacket). Afterwards, we went back to her place so I could visit with the dogs and dye a little yarn
As you can see, I'm definitely thinking spring! These beauties are all Twisted Top Cat and with the exception of the pink one on the end they should be in the shop soon.

I also picked up a couple of books she ordered us.
The third and fourth treasury of knitting patterns by Barbara G. Walker. We already had the first two, and I use them a lot when designing, so we figured we should add the second two to our library.

I've flipped through them quickly, and already the wheels are turning... if only I had more time!

Sounds like a productive weekend.

All that pretty, pretty yarn DOES look like spring has come to Canada.

I love that you and your mom do this stuff together!!!!!
Spring is far off here and I wont succumb to thoughts without snow yet! I am really hoping Val that my little winter sow works. I went out briefly saturday when it felt warm in the 40s and brushed snow/ice off my everygreen hedges. I like to add good books to my knit library too. GOod choice!

I'm loving all those pretty pastel colors! We have been having an extremely warm winter here. Feels more like summer than spring. It was 80 degrees yesterday!
