Just in time!

Well I squeaked in with just a day to spare, but I have officially (and successfully) completed the "10 shawls in 2010" challenge. And here is the final shawlAn as-yet-to-be-named-or-released design of my own, knit in Blue Moon Fibre Arts Silkie Sock (courtesy of the lovely Jeanne) Colourway: Walking on the Wild Tide.Looking back at my plan at the start of the year, I realized I only knit one of the shawls I had queued for the challenge (The Red Dragon Shawl, and I used a different yarn than planned) I'm a little bummed, because I really did want to make a few of those shawls... but there's always this year right? But this time... no pressure!

Kudos on finishing 10shawls2010!

I don't think I knit very many of the shawls I'd queued either. I'm actually considering clearing almost everything out of queue and starting over. Crazy huh?

Happy New Year!

I am impressed! My knitting goals are much more vague, but I do try to do about 10 pairs of socks a year, if only to keep ahead of the stash.

Congratulations , they're all beautiful ! I especially like that red one at the top . I only managed to knit 3 shawls for 2010. Missed that goal by just a wee bit ;-). It seem the SockAMonth KAL is the only one I come even close to sticking to .

Have a Happy New Year !

Congrats on finishing. That looks like a snuggly warm shawl.

Incredible. I certainly wouldn't have the patience to knit 10 shawls a year ... all those never ending lace rows!

I find the yarn at hand dictates the pattern, nevermind what's in my queue. Patterns can linger in my queue for ages.
