Very soon, we will be releasing a few new yarns. One of them is Solo Cat, a delicious fingering weight single ply merino. Mom dyed up this gorgeous browny-red colour and I just had to try it out
As soon as I got it home last night - I cast on for the Aeolian shawl. I've actually knit and frogged Aeolian twice, but I think this time it's going to stick.
I just have to decide which beads to use. I'm leaning toward the more topaz-y ones at the top. What do you think?

I agree. I would go with either the red- or yellow-colored beads. That is a very pretty brown, and I don't usually like browns.
I love that colourway! Well done Rhonda. :) I was initially drawn towards the green beads ... my very first thought ... green. The topaz-y ones are nice too. I can't get into the red at all. Maybe if they were a deeper red.
I like them ALL!! I love the bottom beads though.....but I am not confident with color at all!!!
Lovely work
Your new shawl looks lovely already!
Hmm, I'm waiting for you to release a new yarn called "Crazy Cat Lady". :o)
Use the green beads.
Oh yes, the topaz-y ones! I think the red ones would work too, but I don't think I'd like the green with that yarn. Lovely warm brown!
Pretty! Love all the beads but the topaz are my favorite too.
When I made my Aeolian it was in a similar colour and I went with beads in the red range (like the ones on the right), they don't show up a lot so if you want subtlety I'd go with the red, if you want a bit more bling then the ones at the top.
Oh my, I love the yarn! and yes, the topazy beads look great!
My choice would be the topaz colored beads too. What a lovely project! Great colors in the yarn!
Beautiful yarn , would you please stop tempting me ! My vote is for the topaz beads as well ..
