Handspun heaven

A few months back, Mom and I were at The Fibre Garden, a little spinning shop a few towns over. I picked out a nice little bit of merino/silk fiber for her to spin for me.. a natural white with touches of pastel purple and pink .

She got it spun up last week and I finally got to bring it home.
I'd planned to make a nice squishy cowl with it.. but then I got to thinking....
If I pair it with the Black Lamb Classic Bunny (Merino Angora) I got a couple of years ago from the Frolic... I can really make something large and squishy... (and fluffy!)

As soon as the Solo shawl is on the blocking board, I'll be knitting this one up!

Oh pretty! Having access to altogether too much hand-dyed yarn and now handspun too must be crazy temptation!

It's got a lovely sheen and I think it'll be pretty with the wool.

That yarn looks so soft and cuddly. Love the creamy color too!
