Silk thief

My friend Aneesha went to India to visit her family this summer. Knowing that I love things from around the world (but don't get to travel), her Mom sent home a gorgeous pair of garnet earrings for me. (Garnets are my favourite stones!)
And Aneesha picked out two beautiful silk scarves
The turquoise one is a large square, and the purple one is a long rectangle.

The other night, I was showing them off to Dave. I set them down on the couch and dissapeared into the kitchen to do the dishes... when I came back....
Yeah... he did that all on his own. Now Tux is not normally a burrower - that's Rocky. Tux likes to lay ON things - but there is something about these scarves. He laid there for over and hour like that, purring away....
Oh well... at least I get to keep the earrings!

What lovely gifts!

Hopefully Tux will let you borrow the scarves from time to time. Good luck ...

I'd be stealing the scarves back, but then I can't wear earrings no matter how pretty they are. The shawls though have paisley!

Wow. I love the colors of the scarves. No wonder a wandering cat had to enjoy them

Beautiful earrings! What a lovely gift! Oh, the pictures of Tux all cuddled up and purring in the silk scarves is sooooo cute. And heartwarming. Tux knows the "good stuff" when he sees it.
