Inspiration

As mentioned yesterday, I did a little dyeing
The five colours at the front are Solo Cat. We haven't had any in the shop for a while so I figured it was time for some more. You'll see them there soon - possibly with the exception of the peachy pink ones.... I'm sorely tempted to keep those...

The pink/orange and bluey ones at the back are Alley Cat destined for the shop. But the other two skeins there won't make it.. they are both Twisted House Cat. Mom's keeping the green one to knit my sock design and the dark purpley ones (Black Dahlia) are just for me.

As soon as they are dry, they will become Sauble Sunset.
I came across it on Ravelry the other day (it's free until May 15th) and thought it would be the perfect garment to provide a little coverage over my sundresses at work. I'm thinking it might also finally rev my knitting engines. And it's a small enough project that I don't feel guilty about setting aside Lestrange for it...

It can't be easy to resist all that temptation! Dahlia is a gorgeous colour way.

Those yarn colors are so pretty. Love the vest pattern too; I'm going to have to look it up.

Ooooh I wanna swim in those blues, greens and purples! And the warm peachy hues are the sun on my face! I can absolutely imagine you wanting to keep those.. Great dyeing job!
