Speaking of comfort - there's nothing quite like spending a Saturday night wrapped up on the couch with a good movie, a cup of tea, and your knitting, is there? And that mug - I've had that cup since I was 13 years old - hard to believe it's been 20 years. I got it from Mom for Christmas and it's been my favourite mug ever since. It's been through four moves and countless sick days. Breakfast tea, or an evening hot chocolate - it's the perfect cup - just the right size. And considering my clumsiness, I'm amazed it's never been dropped.
When Dave and I first started dating, he'd make me a tea in an ordinary mug and I've have to go pour it into the "kitty cat cup". Now he knows, and doesn't even ask - and if it's already dirty, he'll wash it first. I have a cupboard with dozens of mugs - but I only use this one. Tea just isn't the same in another cup.
(and for anyone wondering, those cookies are Voortman's Almond Krunch - perfect for dipping!)

I have to say I love your kitty cat mug!! How special having a mug for so many years! Your cardigan looks so soft and warm. I love the color you have chosen.
I love a good day of knitting and movies. It's been so hot here, that's all I seem to do lately.
I am very picky about what cup my tea goes into also. I have one for every different kind of tea and I think that is weird but somehow it helps me enjoy it more. I also have a different pot for every different type of tea. Oh my... I suppose that is just a wee bit weird.
My Aunt used to work at the Voortman factory ... we were spoiled! Growing up we had assigned mugs - and with a large family it was a very mismatched cupboards - so nowadays I have a dozen identical chocolate brown mugs from Caban. Everything shall match!
The knitting...oh, it looks so cozy. And it's hard to beat a evening of knitting with your favorite cup and a sweet treat!!
I've got a mug that my BFF gave me for Christmas in grade 8, I believe it was. So it's about 28 years old. Hard to believe it's still around, as clumsy as I am. It's Carebears, lol. (I'm posting this from my phone for the first time, no idea how it will show. Just in case - this is Sheri/lexa, lol.)

The mug is adorable. Tea, knitting and football --- heaven on earth. And, I too, have a favorite mug, but it is as pretty as yours. It's my husband's college mug. Go PANTHERS!
