One of the projects on my list of Christmas knits is a small trousseau of clothing for an 18" dolly. Which means it's actually bunch of small projects.
Browsing through patterns on Ravelry, it's easy to get carried away - there are so many! But time constraints and other projects means I have to keep it under control, so I'm knitting just a few (I may sew some things on the weekend too - but that's quicker than knitting)
First up, I chose Little Kina.
This little cardi knit up quick and used some leftover Stray Cat in "Wisteria"
I've dug out some leftover Stray Cat in "Kaia" and started the Flared Jacket
Unfortunately, this one isn't done in one piece... honestly, it feels a little weird knitting a garment in pieces - I haven't done it in so long. I've got a cute little beret pattern to go with this one though.
And I'm thinking, if I have time - I'll design a cute little pinnafore.
The only unfortunate part is that I don't have an 18" dolly of my own to model these on.... hmmmmm......

You could always knit up a Lottie doll, and make shorter legs and arms?
Daughter had all the American Girl doll's back in the day. I used to sew clothes for them. I bought a kit to knit an Aran sweater for one of them but I never got around to it. It's still sitting here on my shelf in plain sight shaming me even though the dolls are long gone.
Awwww it was fun to have dollies. I ALWAYS asked Santa for a dolly. AT 11 I was afraid to keep asking, but then I started helping my mom with foster babies so I got real dollies!
Oh what cute dolly projects!! What a great way to use up scrap yarns. These are adorable!
