After digging our from Saturday's snow, Sunday was spent up in the studio.
That's a pretty impressive haul. Normally, a dye session is anywhere from 10-20 skeins, but I was feeling ambitious, and there was a whopping 35 dyed yesterday.
Drying on the rack you see some Alley Cat, Stray Cat and Twisted Top Cat.
That includes 5 Stray Cats for Dave's plaid scarf.
Dave's not as adventerous as Franklin when it comes to colours, but I still think this will look nice. He wears a chocolate brown brushed leather coat, so this will give it a nice pop of colour.
I know now I won't be able to get it done in time for Christmas, but I think it will make a nice Valentine's gift. We usually get the bulk of our nasty weather in February anyway...

Wowie! That's a lot of dyeing! I see some gorgeous colorways. Can't wait to see them skeined up in the shop.
Hey, wait - you've already put 5 skeins aside for you!!!! How fair is that?
Seriously though, that's gonna be one gorgeous scarf!
The color you chose for Dave's scarf ---- wow! Beautiful. Or should I say, handsome?
Can't wait to see those yarns worked up.
Wow, great colours!
The colors for the scarf are GORGEOUS!
I love the skeins you've chosen . The blue will give it some pop for sure. Just enough
Ooooooh. Beautiful. And I love the colors you've chosen for the scarf (I'm not as adventurous as Franklin, either). Can't wait to see it!
