Last week, Mom kindly gave into my pleas and let me spend some Wandering Cat profits. There's something I've been wanting for a while... and yesterday it finally arrived. (Yay for snowpocalypse... I was home to receive it!)
Meet Catrine DeMew - my newest Monster High doll. You know I had to have a cat one... right? There are actually a
couple of other were-cats, but I don't like them as much as Catrine.
Catrine is French, from the city of Scaris (Paris) and she's an artist... it's like she was made for me!!! (She's actually inspired by
Catherine Deneuve)
And look....
She has a tail!!! (with a bow, no less!) I love all the little details they put into these dolls...
From her face, to the hair styled so nicely around her ears, to the scarf around her neck.
To clawed hands
To killer shoes.
Honestly, I think I love dolls more now than I did when I was a kid (and I was a serious Barbie fan then). And I certainly keep them in much better condition now (no more hair cuts!)
And I've almost got Mom talked into getting her own...

Meow! I saw these dolls for the first time a few weeks ago and they are awesome. I admit to owning all of the LOTR figurines in all their amazingly detailed glory so I totally get how much you love them.
And I vote yes for Mom getting the zombie. She's adorable.
