The cold winds are rising...

So I'm staying indoors
I've got warm socks...
... a warm sweater, and a warm cat, and I plan on knitting until the weather warms up again! (Or at least until I have to go make some mash potatoes to go with my roast chicken dinner).

But I wanted to take a minute to say thank you to everyone who bought a pattern this week.
You really helped take a bite out of Rocky's emergency vet bill.  He's doing much better now - no more limp and no more pain meds. He's on a diet, so hopefully we'll see some weight come off him soon.

The sale is on until midnight today, so if you're still in the market, you can save 30% with the code DOLLARS4ROCKY. Thanks again!

I just made mashed potatoes. Mmmm...perfect for this cold rainy weather. It's been crazy here but at least that hurricane is keeping its distance.

The pictures of your knitted socks and snuggling cats speaks of warmth, love, and gratitude. Enjoy settling in on a new season of knitting!

Love those socks in your photo. What is the pattern? BTW, my Undines are done, done, done, and I didn't run out of yarn. Thanks for the pattern!

I'm so pleased to hear that Rocky is feeling better. It's always tough when they're struggling because they can't tell you what they're feeling and what their caretakers should do. I'm trying to get my cat switched to a gluten-free diet on the vets advice and you can just imagine how well that's going ... NOT!

I'm wearing hand knit socks today too!
