Snow bound

Texas.... sweet, generous, big-hearted Texas... sent us another storm this week. But unlike like last week, it was quite cold here, so it fell as snow, instead of rain. Wednesday morning, we woke up to a winter wonderland...
... hopefully the last one of this year. At least, that's what the cats are hoping...
"Tux.... this sucks."
... admittedly, I am too. I'm really ready to play in my gardens again,

For now, I'll have to satisfy myself with pretty knits instead of pretty flowers.
Mirabel is growing - so much that I can't spread her out on the needle any more.
I'm on section 8 now, and there are 11 sections, so if I keep at it, she'll be off the needles shortly.
She's quite a small shawl (40 inches wide), so I'm thinking she'll be going to my friend after all. I prefer a big shawl - even if this one is just so darn pretty!

The colors remind me of roses! So pretty!

The snow really was helpful see? You finished up a lot of knitting!

Your shawl is making me itch to get one on the needles. Oh, wait. I have a shawl on the needles already. Now I just have to go find it.
We may have snow tomorrow also. It was gorgeous out all week and now it's back to COLD. Darn.

Brrr! That's one chilly view out your window. Love that shawl. Great colors, too. Now I need to check out the pattern.

I love your MIrabell. I love even more your comparison to yarn and flowers! YES that's just the attitude I need.
Guess what/ I cast on with the gorgeous yarn you sent me. I'm loving its softness Val!

Mirabel is very pretty and I feel like your colors really reflect your wish for spring and green and flowers in your garden again :)
