FO: Fox socks (for a foxy lady)

Huzzah! The fox socks are finished

And just in time too - as they were a Mother's Day present for my foxy mama! Friday night I was able to finish up the heel and gusset, leaving just the foot left for Saturday
Though that foot did take me most of the day to complete. I made a few minor mods to this one...
First, I didn't carry the box stitch down the foot. It wasn't hard, but it was a little on the tedious side. And, since I was already on a deadline, I figured plain stockknit would just be faster. The second mod was on the foxes themselves....
Instead of having three yarns on the go, I opted to do the white details in duplicate stitch. It's a little bit messy in spots, but at least they look like foxes still, and I didn't drive myself crazy trying to juggle three yarns at once.

I used Squoosh Superwash sock for the main part, and some leftover bits of orange and natural Wandering Cat Yarn (Barn and Alley Cat) for the foxes.

And now that these are gone, I can go back to being selfish and finish up my cropped cardi!
