Thinking pink

Look knitting!
I know... I said I was going to be able to get the second sleeve of Sherlock done by the weekend. But.. I'd actually have to work on it to do that....

And it was just too hot.....

And even when the heat wave broke (it's still hot, but not "OMG are we in hell???" hot...) I just couldn't get the gumption to work on it. April is just so much lighter. And, as a result, I've now split for the sleeves.

Of course, will all this luscious cashmere...
It's not exactly  a warm weather garment either.... but I'll be set for fall!

THE HEAT IS ON! Here in Chicago too. I am happily knitting what my husband calls FLOSS. The ITO cotton is so thin and light.
I like it so far.

Pretty!
I'm sorry to hear you've got heat troubles way up north too. We are breaking records for days in the 90's. I've about had it. My brain is soggy from the humidity. All I want to do is sleep and cry. I hope this doesn't mean we are in for a bad hurricane season. That would just be too much.

Cashmere can distract me anytime. I love it. The color is very pretty and I can only imagine how soft it feels based on how soft it looks and well, that was pretty soft (and that was a pretty dorky sentence, sorry).

I like when you and other knitters follow your instinct and stray from the intended path to knit something else, if simply because it validates my own knitting detours. :)

Anyhow, enjoy! Stay frosty ;)
