The balmy weather has continued, and the boys are just lovin' it
Yeah - this is pretty much all they do outside. They scream and scream to go out, and then just plunk themselves on the lawn.
I'm trying not to get too excited. It is still early March. Mother Nature could still totally screw us. But it's hard not to hopeful when you see all this poking up.
I think these are lilies... but really, I have no idea. I can't tell them apart this early
I started to clear away some of the leaves in the gardens, and found these exciting little sprouts.
Out back, the Delphinium seems to be coming back.
I'm a little dubious about whether to Foxglove made it or not, but I just keep telling myself, it's too early to give up yet.
It's not to early to get excited about this though.
My lovely lilac will start greening up fast. And it's making me really think it needs a pussywillow friend...

I'm kicking myself for not putting in some bulbs last fall. I get so excited seeing all the little things sprouting. I need MORE.
Ive loved pussy willows forever! I too am hesitant to get too OVER winter. WE often get blasted into May! But hope can spring eternal. Love the cats pose
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....lilacs! My absolute favorite spring flower.
Sadly, they do not grow in Florida. :-(
Would you look at that , no snow ! We still have a ton of the white stuff on the ground , but the mild temps forecast for the weekend should take care of that . Hope our pussywillows are out in time for Easter .
I love that the boys just plop down in the backyard. It's great you can see in those contented cat positions that they love their domain.
